Asphalt Mix Design
Advanced Materials Services has developed mix designs for multiple groups and contractors across the United States. Our team of engineers has been able to alter current designs to help contractors meet Balanced Mix Design (BMD) requirements and routinely develop specific designs suited for state, parking lot, and airport paving.
AMS is proficient in the use of the Bailey Method and has helped contractors alter their designs that are struggling with segregation or low VMA. Our licensed and certified engineers can provide a cost-effective and durable mix for our customer's needs. We are capable of performance testing that can provide any data needed by agencies to verify the mixtures stability and durability, including the high pressure APA requirements of the FAA.
